The short version

  • No cookies, no analyticsThe Site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
  • Nothing from other serversFonts, images and videos are served by biantech.org itself.
  • Newsletter only if you send itSubscribing opens your email app. We keep your address only to send BIAN news, and delete it when you unsubscribe.

1. Who we are and what this covers

This notice explains how BIAN Tech ("BIAN", "we", "us", "our") handles information when you visit biantech.org ("the Site") or subscribe to its newsletter. BIAN Tech is responsible for this information. Contact: support@biantech.org or ltdbiantech@gmail.com.

Our apps have their own privacy policies: Smart Calendar, Bianex Browser and My Trackr.

2. When you visit the Site

The Site is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. To deliver pages, GitHub receives your IP address and ordinary request details, such as the page requested, the time and your browser type, and may keep them in its server logs for security and operation, under the GitHub Privacy Statement. We do not receive these logs.

  • The Site sets no cookies and uses no local storage that identifies you.
  • It runs no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or social-media plugins.
  • Its fonts, images and videos are served from biantech.org itself, so your browser contacts no other servers while you browse it, unless you follow a link elsewhere.

3. The newsletter

Subscribing does not send anything from the Site. It opens your own email app with a short message to support@biantech.org asking to be added, and nothing is sent until you press send. When you do, we receive the email address you entered and the email you sent, like any other email.

  • What we use it for: only to send you occasional news about BIAN and our products. We never sell it, share it or use it for advertising.
  • Where it is kept: in our email account, with the provider that hosts it. We do not add it to any mailing service without telling you first.
  • Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • How long we keep it: until you unsubscribe. We then delete it within 30 days.
  • How to unsubscribe: reply to any newsletter, or write to support@biantech.org.

4. When you email us

If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you send, and use them only to answer you and to fix what you report. We keep them only as long as needed for that, and no longer than 24 months unless the law requires otherwise. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps you ask us to take.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to and move your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To use them, write to us. We answer within 30 days and may ask you to confirm details first.

We do not sell or share personal information, as those words are used in the CCPA, and we make no decisions about you based solely on automated processing. You can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.

6. Children

The Site is a general site about our products and is not directed to children. Do not subscribe to the newsletter if you are under 13, or under the age the law where you live requires.

7. International transfers

GitHub and our email provider may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States, under the safeguards described in their own policies.

8. Security

The Site is served only over HTTPS, and a security policy in every page stops it from loading anything that is not its own. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect the little information we hold.

9. Changes to this notice

We will publish any new version here with a new effective date. If a change affects how we use your email address, we will tell newsletter subscribers first.
