5.1 Local Storage

All user data is stored exclusively on your device. You acknowledge that the security of this data depends on your device's security measures.

  • Android: Room Database with encryption, Android Keystore for sensitive data
  • Windows: Local encrypted database with Windows Credential Manager integration

5.2 No Cloud Storage

Bianex Browser does NOT use any cloud storage, cloud sync, or remote backup services. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it. BIAN is not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, loss, theft, or user error.

5.3 Data Retention

  • Data persists until you delete it manually or uninstall the App
  • You can clear browsing data, history, cookies, and cache at any time from Settings
  • Uninstalling the App removes all associated data from your device

6. Third-Party Services

When you browse the internet using Bianex Browser, websites you visit may collect data according to their own privacy policies. BIAN is NOT responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or conduct of any third-party websites.

  • Built-in Ad Blocker: Blocks advertisements and many tracking scripts
  • Tracker Blocker: Prevents known trackers from collecting data
  • Cookie Popup Blocker: Automatically dismisses cookie consent popups
  • Anonymous Mode: Browse without saving history or cookies

These privacy features are provided as a convenience and do not guarantee complete protection from all tracking or data collection by third parties.

6.2 Third-Party Services We Do NOT Use

  • Firebase or any Google services (except Play Store for distribution)

You acknowledge that you use the App at your own risk and discretion. Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the App is done at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for any damage to your device or loss of data.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BIAN, ITS DEVELOPERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES WERE FORESEEABLE OR WHETHER BIAN WAS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

BIAN shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

  • Your use or inability to use the App
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any content, products, or services obtained through third-party websites
  • Any viruses, malware, or harmful code transmitted through websites you visit
  • Loss or corruption of data stored on your device
  • Any actions taken by third-party websites or services
  • Device malfunction, damage, or loss
  • Interruption or cessation of the App
  • Any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities conducted through the App
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
  • Any reliance on AI-generated content or summaries

IN JURISDICTIONS THAT DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, BIAN'S LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

IN NO EVENT SHALL BIAN'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE APP (WHICH IS ZERO DOLLARS, AS THE APP IS FREE).

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BIAN, its developers, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers, and any third-party partners from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your use of and access to the App
  • Your violation of any term of this Privacy Policy
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, trademark, property, or privacy right
  • Your violation of any applicable law, rule, or regulation
  • Any claim that your use of the App caused damage to a third party
  • Any content you access, download, upload, or transmit through the App

This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of this Privacy Policy and your use of the App.
